An Amazing Job by Our Fabrication Team
An enormous undertaking by the Uplands Engineering Fabrication team, showcasing commendable effort from the initial inquiry to project completion.
All fabrication followed the detailed drawings provided by the draughtsman, with 16 robust steel sections crafted in our workshop before being transported to the site. Notably, each section underwent galvanisation before installation.
The sheer magnitude of this tank, spanning an impressive 20 meters in width, posed a remarkable challenge. Employing crane technology, each section was carefully lowered onto a scaffold platform and expertly bolted together to form a circle. Subsequently, the sides and top were precisely fitted, creating a water-tight tank.
Executing this technically intricate and occasionally hazardous task required precision and expertise, resulting in a successful completion. Well done to everyone involved!
