Apprenticeship Programme

Uplands Engineering believe in the future of our industry and as such are committed to the training of young individuals through our apprenticeship programme.

Our programme involves a 4-year indentured training period of the chosen trade combined with City and Guilds academic courses to NVQ level 3. Further and higher qualifications are encouraged if the individual shows aptitude and academic prowess.

Currently Uplands Engineering employ 6 apprentices in the following trades: Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication and welding & Electrical engineering.

The company operates a strict minimum qualification requirement for all apprenticeship candidates. This includes Maths, English and a Science at grade 5 or above.
